As a developer, it’s very urgent to use Subversion. I found a nice and powerful GUI tool for Ubuntu. Just install it. It’ll create a link to programming of start menu.
sudo apt-get install rapidsvn

And now what? I can’t even get it to do a diff, or revert to an earlier version. What did you do?

1) Install meld: sudo aptitude install meld
2) Set the diff application preference in Rapid SVN: View-> Preferences…-> Select the [Programs] tab -> type ‘meld’ in the Diff tool: text box.
Now you can right click on files and choose diff to base or what not.
